Tuition
The Master of Athletic Training program charges a consistent per-credit tuition rate throughout the two-year program (69 total credits). Students are billed each term based on the number of credits in which they are enrolled.
*Students participating in the 3+2 Accelerated Option are eligible to keep their undergraduate tuition and financial aid for the Summer I and Fall I term as they complete their BA degree in Exercise Physiology during those terms. Contact the finaid [at] gustavus.edu (Financial Aid) office to request a review of your financial aid package so you can make an informed decision.

Fees for Master of Athletic Training Program
Student Government Fee
$218 (estimated until set by Student Senate)
The Student Senate and the Campus Activities Board disburse the fees collected to develop campus programming, which will be available to graduate students and clubs/organizations.
Graduate Student Fee
$100
One-time (first year) fee added to the first term payment for all new graduate students, to partially cover the costs of advising materials, summer staffing, and programming for new graduate students.
Technology Fee
$100
Annual fee added to the first term payment each academic year for all new full-time students and provides for technology support.
MAT Program Fee
$2000
Annual fee added to the first term payment each academic year for all MAT students, to partially cover the costs of certifications, memberships, supplies, clothing, research expenses, technology, examinations, and study aids for all MAT students.*
*Personal expenses, including but not limited to textbook or course material purchases, fingerprinting for background check, transportation, housing, additional clothing, additional clinical background checks, immunizations, and health screenings are the responsibility of the student.
Housing Fee
Additional housing fees will apply if living on campus. Please reach out to the reslife [at] gustavus.edu (Residential Life office) for more information.
Graduate Enrollment Deposit
A $100 non-refundable deposit is due when a student accepts an offer of admission. The deposit secures a student's place in the program and is paid through the Student Accounts Office.

External Scholarships
The Master of Athletic Training program curates a list of external scholarships related to sports medicine, athletic training, and health and wellness. The scholarships are not in any way associated with the MAT. Students are encouraged to pursue any external scholarships for which they are eligible.
