Gustie Days are select Saturday visits that let you step right into life at Gustavus. Get to know campus through a guided group tour, hear real stories from students on a panel, learn the basics in an info session, and enjoy a meal in our dining hall. Plus, take home a fun piece of Gustie swag.

In this hilarious and outlandish story, the lives of six teenagers from a Canadian chamber choir are cut short in a freak accident aboard a roller coaster. When they awake in limbo, a mechanical fortune teller invites each to tell a story to win a prize like no other — the chance to return to life. This popular musical is a funny, moving look at what makes a life well-lived.

Music, book, and lyrics by Jacob Richmond and Brooke Maxwell

Tickets will be available online two weeks before opening night.

The Gustavus Music Department is proud to present the Gustavus Symphony Orchestra for their winter concert. This concert will be conducted by Manny Laureano, interim conductor for the Gustavus Symphony Orchestra and former Principal Trumpet of the Minnesota Orchestra.

Behind every excellent performance is a community of supporters.

Welcome to Applause for the Cause, our annual Giving Days for Performing Arts at Gustavus! This is your chance to make a lasting impact on the incredible music, theater, and dance programs that bring our campus—and audiences—to life.

Performing arts are at the heart of Gustavus, where 400+ students shine on stage and beyond. From soul-stirring concerts and dynamic theater productions to breathtaking dance performances and our beloved Christmas in Christ Chapel, the arts create unforgettable moments that inspire and transform.

And behind every outstanding performance is a community of supporters—like YOU—who make it all possible!

We’re rallying together to raise support for our talented students. You can choose where your gift makes an impact—whether in a specific area or across multiple opportunities:

🎵 International tours for our musical ensembles, sharing Gustavus’s world-class music across the globe.

🎭 Gustavus Theatre, providing essential funding for production and equipment.

🎭 Gustavus Dance Company, supporting guest artists who enrich the student experience.
